role actions in profile go to organisation / roles select the user types that require medchart access search for the medchart role actions in the find search bar grant and enable the medchart actions for users that need to view the medchart list use and see items in careflow prescribe and/or administer medications be involved in the admission medication reconciliation process be involved with any inpatient management and inpatient medication managementthis is done by right clicking the action and select grant the net actions column should now show a green circle raised above a hand step 3 configure the short codes for the medchart medication order views the medchart short codes need to be configured in profile so that they can reflect your prescribing inpatient workflows the steps below will cover how to configure the medchart short codes in profile go to maintain / short codes the following short codes need to be configured based on your organisation's individual workflows short code type where short code appears in profile medchart administration status captured in the administer medication careflow window when you administer medication medchart dose type important the various windows of the medchart view, as seen below the following steps will show you how to configure the filters from the medchart view click on edit which is located on the top, right hand will have flagged presentation regular tabthe presentation of the regular medications window in the medchart view can be adjusted from the presentation regular tab certain columns can be selected, display names, width, size and justification of those columns can be adjusted, as per your organisation's needs note net new, additional columns cannot be added presentation irregular tabthe
