This article is intended for Clinical Users. It will focus on how to use Print Variables with MedChart in Profile

## Feature Requirements

- Medchart is available in Profile version 8 and above. 
- Access to Profile's licensed Medication module

# Using MedChart Print Variables in Profile

There are Print Variables available for MedChart objects which can be used to set up document templates or inserted into individual letters. To use these you can:

1. Create the new letter or document template you wish to insert the print variables in to.
2. Click on the **Insert Data**  icon in the toolbar.

3. Search for the key word MedChart in the Find field.

4. The MedChart Print Variables are displayed.
5. Click and drag the applicable print variable across to the location you wish to insert it in the letter or document template.
