Inventory records are updated when stock medication is dispensed, stock vaccine is used for immunization, or sale invoice for the stock item is created.

### Completing the Immunization

To maintain the Inventory for a specific vaccine:

Create a service for this vaccine and link this service to the stock item (see [Creating a Service Related to the Stock Item](https://intrahealth.freshdesk.com/solution/articles/6000226290-creating-a-service-related-to-the-stock-item))

For **Immunize Now**:

- Enter the service code that is linked to the stock item
- Check details in **Reason **and **Administration** sections and edit if necessary
- Select the **Stock Location**, **Batch,** and **Expiry **in the **Treatment** section
- Click on **OK** button to save the changes

For immunization as intervention:

- Enroll the client in the existing immunization plan
- Complete the **Intervention**
- Review the details; edit if necessary
- Ensure that **Treatment **section is populated with correct stock information
- Click **OK** to save the information
