# Transitioning to our Provider Direct Web-Based Application

As part of our long-term strategy, Intrahealth is committed to enhancing our web applications to provide a more seamless experience for patients and providers. Our goal is to gradually transition users from mobile apps to a fully web-based platform while ensuring minimal disruption for clinics and organizations.

Starting in 2025, no further enhancements or bug fixes will be made to the current iOS/Android apps. Additionally, no new versions of Provider Direct for iOS or Android will be released in app stores. The app will be officially removed in July 2025. Providers who have previously downloaded the app will receive a pop-up notification, as outlined in this documentation.

# For Organisations using Profile Version V10 and Above

- Providers who currently have the iOS or Android app installed on their mobile device will automatically receive a redirect message (see mockup below).
- By selecting **Go to Web Version**, providers will be seamlessly redirected to the new web-based Provider Portal, **PROVIDER DIRECT**.
- Once redirected, Providers are encouraged to bookmark the web version in their browser for easier access (instructions, provided below).
- Moving forward, Providers should use the web-based version, as the iOS and Android apps will no longer receive updates or support

# For Organisations Using Profile Version V9.0.X or Below

- Selecting **Dismiss **will clear the message, allowing providers to continue using the portal.
- Organisations are encouraged to begin communicating the new web URL to providers to facilitate the transition.
- Instructions for manually copying or editing the Provider Direct web browser URL for distribution are [described below](docId\:laj5jACm8z70Nw4NQQCOm).
- Once providers have the new URL, they are advised to bookmark the web version in their browser for easier access (See below for [instructions](docId\:laj5jACm8z70Nw4NQQCOm)).
