# Transitioning to our Health Connect Web-Based Application

As part of our long-term strategy, Intrahealth is committed to enhancing our web applications to provide a more seamless experience for patients and providers. Our goal is to gradually transition users from mobile apps to a fully web-based platform while ensuring minimal disruption for clinics and organizations.

Starting in 2025, no further enhancements or bug fixes will be made to the current iOS/Android apps. Additionally, no new versions of Health Connect for iOS or Android will be released in app stores. The app will be officially removed in July 2025. Patients and users who have previously downloaded the app will receive a pop-up notification, as outlined in this article.

## For Organisations Using Profile Version V10 and Above

- Patients who currently have the iOS or Android app installed on their mobile device will automatically receive a redirect message (see mock-up below).
- By selecting **Go to Web Version**, patients will be seamlessly redirected to the new web-based Patient Portal, **HEALTH CONNECT**.
- Once redirected, users are encouraged to bookmark the web version in their browser for easier access ([instructions](docId\:x6imNaAKqqjw1bt1MRv25), provided below).
- Moving forward, patients should use the web-based version, as the iOS and Android apps will no longer receive updates or support.

# For Organisations Using Profile Version V9.0.X or Below

- Selecting **Dismiss **will clear the message, allowing patients to continue using the portal.
- Organisations are encouraged to start communicating the new URL to patients via SMS and/or email or based on request.
- Instructions for manually copying or editing the Health Connect web browser URL for distribution are [described below. ](docId\:x6imNaAKqqjw1bt1MRv25)
- Once patients have the new URL, they are advised to bookmark the web version in their browser for easier access (see below for [instructions](docId\:x6imNaAKqqjw1bt1MRv25)).
