There is a new and improved chat feature in Profile. It is intuitive, efficient, and has a more modern look and feel. The enhanced chat will assist healthcare organisations to improve things like care coordination, performing administrative tasks, and the overall collaboration between team members. Users can start one-to-one conversations and group chats to collaborate on a number of important matters together as a team. Special filters have been provided to make the creation of group chats easier and more efficient. You can search for participants from multiple POSs, by Role, as well as by their Chat Availability status. Groups can also be re-named to match the topic of discussion, allowing you to categorise your conversations. 

As your availability changes throughout the day, there are a number of status options to choose from that can help indicate whether you are available to chat or not.  

When someone in your team messages you, you will be automatically notified, and your unread messages will be clearly visible. Conversation history is easily located in the Chat view, allowing you to get the information you need, when you need it.

When this breeding is entered in DairyComp the animal remains pregnant, but this flag is set so that the veterinarian can determine if she is still pregnant to the original breeding or if she has aborted and is now just another "bred status" cow.

Mastitis is the persistent, inflammatory reaction of the udder tissue due to physical trauma or infection. Symptoms of mastitis include udder swelling, heat, hardness, redness, or pain. The milk may have a watery appearance, flakes, clots, or pus.

Milk fever is a disease characterized by reduced blood calcium levels. It occurs in early lactation, when demand for calcium for colostrum and milk production exceeds the cow's ability to mobilize calcium. "Fever" is a misnomer, as body temperature during the disease is generally not elevated. Milk fever symptoms include tremor in the muscles of the head and limbs until falling to a "sitting" position. Once down, cows may have a dry muzzle, staring eyes, cold legs and ears, constipation, and drowsiness.

Displaced abomasum in cattle occurs when the abomasum, also known as the true stomach, which typically resides on the floor of the abdomen, fills with gas and rises to the top of the abdomen, where it is said to be "displaced".
