**Stock Item:**A single unit of stock.
**Stock Location:**

A place where stock is stored; One Place of Service (POS) can have more than one stock location; One stock location can be shared by many POSs.

**Stock Delivery:**Recording details about ordered stock items such as order number, supplier, batch/expiry, quantity, and location.
**Stock Lot:**A single record of stock items with the same batch number, expiry date and allocated to the same location.
**Stock Movement:**Recording delivery, movements, consumption, shrinkage, and other changes to stock volume and location.
**Stock Shrinkage:**Recording change in stock volume and location which are not related to normal consumption such as breakage, theft, loss, expiry, return to sender.
