Profile offers the ability to receive inbound faxes and eFaxes via SRFax. Steps to configure and manage these settings are listed below.

## Configuring inward faxes

1. Contact Intrahealth by creating a support ticket (via help.intrahealth.com or help\@intrahealth.com) let them know you want to set up inward faxes . They will set up an SRFax account for your organisation and give you an SRFax number.
2. In **Organisation/Preferences/Setup/eMessages**, double-click on **SRFax eFax** to open the eFax Properties window
3. Check the "**Enable Inward Faxes**" box and click **OK**

4. Go to **Organisation/People & Places** and open the POS that will receive inward faxes 
5. Under **General**, set the Fax number to the number provided by Intrahealth.
6. Repeat steps 3-4 for additional POSes. This may require Intrahealth to create additional SRFax eMessages if there isn't already one for each POS that will receive faxes.

## Managing inward faxes

1. Go to **Special / Document Processor**
2. At the top drop-down menu, select **Profile Fax**

3. Click the **Download Faxes** button to load the pending inward faxes.

When the faxes are imported into Profile, they will no longer appear when users click Download Faxes.

If different users download the same faxes before it is imported, the first user will be able to import as normal, but the second user who tries to import the faxes will see a warning screen to prevent double-entry.
