To select or change a patient's label, complete the following steps:

Click **Alter Patient **from the toolbar or click the **Patient** tab then select **Alter Patient**.

- The Select Patient screen appears where you can select the patient.

Select the patient from the list and click **OK**.

- You can also enter the patient's last name and first name in the top box and click **Search**.

- The patient record appears.

Click the **Label** drop-down then select the appropriate label.

- The patient’s name appears in the selected colour in appointment screens and patient lists. This serves as a visual cue regarding certain patient details.
