| New Medicare Billing Surgical Modifier Field (Canada - NB only) | A new Surgical Modifier field is supported for Medicare billing. Valid values for this field are either "1 - Same Incision" or "2 - Different Incision".

| Appointment Management and Scheduling | - An issue has been resolved where appointment slots not configured for Online Booking were incorrectly appearing as available for patients to book. These slots are now properly excluded from the patient booking page. |
| Encounters; Obstetrics | * An issue has been resolved in the Notes tab of the New Encounter/Obstetric module where clinical notes for the first pregnancy were displayed instead of the current, ongoing pregnancy when a patient had multiple pregnancies. The Notes tab will now correctly display clinical notes associated with the current pregnancy. |
| Financial | - When users selected Medicare Providers under Financial > Batch Claims and attempted to create batch claims, an error occurred, causing batch claim delivery to fail. This issue has now been resolved.
- Some FMNB rates/units were not being applied correctly; this has now been resolved.
- As part of fixing this issue, a new "NB Medicare Config" property has been added under the Service Location Short Code Category. This property stores configuration data required for billing logic calculations related to Service Locations.
- In the user interface, when opening a Service Location Short Code, the NB Medicare Config property is displayed as a multi-line text field (approximately 10 lines tall by default) with a scrollbar, to accommodate larger blobs of text as needed.
- Previously, all NB environments used outdated versions of the following Medicare billing tables. These tables have now been updated:
- SERVICE\_ELIGIBILITY
- ANAESTHETIST\_MODIFIER
- VACCINE\_LOT
- FMNB\_CONFIG\_SERV\_LOC\_TYPE
- IMMUNIZATION\_PRODUCT (Previous version: 1, Latest Medicare version: 2) |
| Patient Record | * HCNs which had previously been added for patients were being removed unexpectedly from the Alter Patient window when incoming lab results with no HCN incorrectly updated the patient record to a blank HCN. This has been rectified. |
| Results
| - A parsing error for the inbound "Reported Time" in lab results, which caused HL7 messages to fail during import, has been resolved. HL7 messages received from Excelleris will now be imported successfully without errors.
- A new validation rule has been added to ensure units of measurement have unique names. This change prevents duplicate unit names, reducing the risk of Excelleris lab message import failures and improving system reliability. |
