## Improved Error Messaging in Booking Tool

| Application Change(s) | We have enhanced the error handling in our booking tool web app to improve user experience and clarity\:This update aims to reduce confusion and guide users effectively during error scenarios.
* A new error message is now displayed specifically for server-related errors, providing clear and actionable messaging when issues are beyond the user's control (e.g., server downtime or technical issues). The error text is as follows:"**Booking error**There seems to be a technical issue. Please try again later, or reach out to our support team if it persists. Thank you for your patience."
* Client-side validation errors will no longer trigger the generic error message, ensuring form validation feedback remains distinct and intuitive.

## Encounter Notes Enhanced to Display Signed Information

| Signed User Information in PDF Exports | For signed encounters, the medical record PDF export file will now contain the Name, License Number, and Date/Time of the individual who has signed off on the encounter. |
| Form Orientation and Paper Size | A new PrintPaperOrientation property has been added to the Forms Object Inspector. It can be set to: Default, Portrait, or Landscape. The PaperName property has been renamed to PrintPaperSize to remove any ambiguity regarding the print size. |

| Email | - Previously, when attaching a document while emailing a form, the attachment name was displayed in English instead of being translated into French. This issue has been resolved, and the attachment name is now correctly translated into French. |
| Financial | * Previously, users could search using partial codes in the invoice window, but this functionality stopped working in version 9.0.5. The logic has now been restored, and users will be able to search using partial codes again starting from the 9.0.12 release.
* An issue where some DVA card numbers (for veterans) were not being accepted in Profile under Alter Patient > Financial has now been resolved. |
| HCare | - Previously, the consent forms did not support Quick Text functionality, especially when the fields were consolidated into a single text area. Although the Quick Text icon was visible and accessible for setup, the text could not be inserted into the text area field. Users can now seamlessly select and insert Quick Text entries into the text area, ensuring streamlined documentation and consistency. This fix improves usability and maintains compatibility with the enhanced form layout. This fix is only for iOS and Web. |
| Medications | * Previously, for a user with multiple roles assigned (including inherited roles), where one role was allowed to perform an action and other roles were not, the user was denied the ability to perform the action. Now, the user is allowed to perform all actions that are allowed by at least one role, providing that permission is not explicitly overridden for that user.
* Previously, when a formulary medication was added, and ‘Continue with modification’ was selected under Medication Plan, the medication was incorrectly loaded to MedChart as ad hoc medication. This has been corrected so that formulary medication is added as formulary medication, and ad hoc medication is added as ad hoc medication in MedChart. |
| Messages; Patient Management | - Previously, after running the macro for the incoming Maestro queue, the Roster status for the patient showed as synced but the Roster field was not updating within the Alter Patient > General tab. This issue has now been resolved and the Roster field is now populated as Rostered. |
| Referrals | * Previously, there was an issue with outward referrals where referral attachments were opening as read-only, which was not the behaviour in previous releases. This issue has now been resolved. |
| Results | - Previously, stringent validation of patient Health Card Numbers (HCNs) in HL7 messages received from Excelleris was causing some messages to fail processing for numbers that were out of province. Also, empty HCNs in incoming messages were updating the HCN in the patient record. Now, the format of incoming HCNs is no longer restricted. We also do not update the patient record with the incoming HCN.
- In Organisation/Preferences/General/General/Import, the label for the patient matching field previously displayed as "PHN" for Health Card Number. This has been corrected to "HCN" for clarity and consistency. |
