## New Cardiovascular Disease Risk Calculator

## Collecting a Reason During Interaction with Access Macros

When access macros make use of this, targeted users will be required to provide a reason when opening a Medical Record or Case, depending on logic configured in the access macro. This user-entered reason is available in the **Medical Record/Audit **and **Case/Audit **views, as well as in **Find Objects **under **Patient - EMR Audit - Detail**. |

| Appointments | - Several changes have been made to ensure intuitive behaviour of the Send Advice and Print Advice checkboxes:- The Send Advice checkbox will now always be named Send Advice and will only serve this purpose; it will not be renamed to Print Advice in some cases.- The Send Advice checkbox will now be hidden if preferences “Send Advice by SMS” and “Send Advice by Email” are both unchecked.- The Print Advice checkbox will now always be shown.- The Send Advice checkbox will now be unchecked and disabled when there is no patient selected.- The Send Advice checkbox will now be unchecked and disabled when a patient is selected if the patient doesn’t have a corresponding Communicate By checkbox checked. (e.g., Only SMS preference is enabled, and the patient doesn’t have “Communicate by SMS” checked.)Both checkboxes are now unchecked by default. Edit / Set Defaults / Base Parameters can be used to set either of these to checked by default if desired, which applies to both New Appointment and Edit Appointment. - Previously, if a user didn’t have the Access Right to Delete Appointments, they would see the error message “You are not allowed to delete appointments” when trying to change the recurrence schedule for a recurring Appointment. This has been fixed. |
| Care Plans and Interventions | * When a Calculator was configured as an Action in an Intervention (as part of a Care Plan or otherwise), the calculator would appear both as a tab in the Intervention Completion window to be actioned, and also as a standalone window after the Intervention Completion window was closed. The calculator has been fixed to no longer appear as a standalone window afterwards. |
| Documents, Scanning, and Letters | - There was an issue with the new Document Processor field configuration in General Preferences not working appropriately, where fields were not being shown when they were configured to be shown. This has been fixed. |
| Financial | * In databases with many financial transactions, it was possible to get Out of Memory errors if users tried to load financial transactions with an overly broad filter. This has been fixed by adding a hardcoded limit of 150,000 financial transactions for any view or report. Larger numbers of financial transactions result in a dialog message to the user indicating that they should narrow their filter and try again. |
| Measures | - The intention of the Medical Record/Measures view is to provide a clean view of certain clinical measures for patients over time. It was possible to right-click on a measure, select Measure Conversion, and then change the Value of the measure in the window that appeared. This has been fixed by making the Value field read-only and removing the buttons in this window that imply changes will be saved.
- The 5 year ‘Cardiovascular Risk’ Calculator based on the New Zealand Guidelines Group was outdated and has been removed due to patient risk. A new “Cardiovascular Risk” Calculator form which is integrated with the Health NZ CVD Risk Assessment API has been added for New Zealand customers only (see [New Cardiovascular Disease Risk Calculator](docId\:jaueFWnGmJWekOQTEx7Nu)). |
| Medications | * Medications from a patient’s previous Discharge Medication Reconciliation now correctly display in the Medication Reconciliation window when creating a new Admission Medication Reconciliation. Users can now pull in these medications from the Usual Scripts list during re-admission. This resolves an issue where previously only medications entered directly via the Scripts module were available for import. This fix improves continuity of care by ensuring that all relevant previous medications, including those reconciled at discharge, are available for review and import during a new admission.
* Previously, after sending an ePrescription, the Sent History window would show an empty cell for the Recipient. This has been fixed by populating “NZePS Broker” for New Zealand or “eRx” for Australia.
* An issue was resolved where the Add Group button in Medication Reconciliation Signing Groups was previously not functioning. Users can now successfully add groups when setting up reviewing and signing workflows. Also, the Review and Sign drop-down now displays all users, groups, and subgroups in alphabetical order, making it easier to locate and select the correct signer.
* Previously, when making changes to the displayed columns in the New Encounter/MedChart view, there would be empty columns saved and shown in addition to the normal columns. This has been fixed.
* Script errors were being shown when opening the NZF (New Zealand Formulary) Info window to get information about a medication. This has been fixed by switching the browser component from Internet Explorer to WebView 2. There are some minor differences in the window as a result of this, such as the Print and Save buttons no longer being on the toolbar, but still being available by right-clicking. |
| Results | - Previously, when one or more investigations were added to an order, ‘Insert Dx’ was checked, and the ‘Sep Page’ option was checked, the diagnosis was not being included on the printout. This has been fixed.
- The error "Column fldDiagnosis is not found" was shown when printing the Generic Australia Radiology order if a disease code was selected in the Encounter. This has been fixed.
- An issue has been fixed where CDX lab results appeared twice in providers’ Unassigned Transactions when they were listed as both the primary and secondary recipient. Providers will now see only the main result, not a duplicate copy.
- An issue has been resolved with results sent via the Interior Health Authority – Physician Office Integration (IHA POI), where only the main result was delivered and copied providers did not receive a copy in their Unassigned Transactions. Now, copied providers receive a copy of the result to review and sign. |
| Tasks | * When a user created or modified a Task and set a Privacy role in the Privacy field and saved the Task, the selected Privacy role was not being saved properly. This has been fixed. |
