a variety of enhancements were made to new zealand eprescribing for profile v9 0 2 enhancements the ability to modify the subject and content in prescription emails has been added in organisation\preferences\setup\internet\email templates , a new email template called prescription is now available edit the prescription email template to edit the subject and content of the prescription emails when the email button is used to send electronic prescriptions, the prescriptions shall now be attached to an email that is based on the prescription email template in eprescription management , a new column version has been added after import of a eprescription notification that contains multiple versions with the same scid, only the latest version is now displayed in outgoing messages , additional information about the message will appear in the preview section the reprint prescription button can now also be used to resend a script image when the button is pressed, you can choose between reprinting the prescription or resending the image a prescription items' erx status will automatically be changed to ' expired ' 6 months from the date it is prescribed (9 months if it is an oral contraceptive) expiry date has been added to the details window when the eprescribing emessage service is enabled/active, the endorsement button in new/edit instructions will now always be visible the date field on each individual prescribed item has been removed from the default printout only the date field on the signature field will be visible on the printout 4 new endorsements have been added to profile’s prescription endorsements unstable medicine dose administration aid no nhi reason specialist endorsed a jaffa file containing these rx endorsements shortcodes will be provided and must be downloaded the script and instruction preference allow signature exempt for controlled drugs has been removed controlled drugs can now be prescribed with signature exempt endorsement without the need for this preference the default production url for nz eprescribing emessage service has been changed to https //nzeps clinicalx co nz/api prescriptions containing dexamfetamine or methylphenidate cannot be added to a prescription order unless a specialist endorsement has been applied when creating a prescription for a medicine containing dexamfetamine or methylphenidate, and a specialist endorsement has not been applied when clicking ok to finalize/add the item to the order, the select endorsement page will appear automatically this also applies to usual orders and prescription refills the subsidy scheme for nz prescription services has changed and it is now based on ‘approved prescriber’ and ‘unapproved prescriber’ a new global script and instruction preference prescription subsidy has been added a global script and instruction checkbox preference apply m subsidy code to all scripts has been added two new checkbox controls have been added to new/edit instruction line, m and o these controls allow prescribers to apply the m or o subsidy code without applying it to all scripts when the apply m subsidy code to all scripts global preference is ticked, the “m” checkbox control is ticked by default when creating a prescription order and clicking the print or email button, the outgoing prescription message will attach the script image as an xhtml file in the nzeps message new elements priority and priority reason have been added to attachments the priority dropdown must be selected a priority reason can also be added a jaffa file containing these new shortcodes will be provided and must be downloaded when creating a prescription order and entering a supplier the dispensertonotify element will be automatically populated now be actioned after accepting changes to the prescription, the prior script details will be updated with the script updates so the patient record has a record of changes (if any) were made and can be audited somewhere a column " add " has been added to the prescription details window if checked for a prescription, when send/save is clicked, the prescription will be added to usual scripts in the
