# New Zealand eOrdering and eResults

We have added Eclair clinical information system integration to allow online lab ordering within Profile. Providers will now be able to place eOrders in Eclair and review the eResults ordered by other providers or clinics.

## Requirements

### eOrdering Setup

Clinics need to complete the signup process on [https://eorder.co.nz](https://eorder.co.nz) to be able to launch eOrdering within Profile.  System requirements and the lab regions map can be viewed on the page. 

### Profile Setup

Please ensure that the POS **HPI Facility ID** and the provider **HPI CPN **are set correctly and match the registration information given to the Eclair clinical information system.

## eOrdering Workflow

1. Go to **New Encounter/Pathology** view in the **Actions** segment bar menu.
2. In the **Pathology** view toolbar, click the **eOrder** icon.

This launches the Eclair eOrder browser window.
Note:  If there is an error window displayed after clicking on the eOrder icon, the system administrator should confirm the clinic **HPI Facility ID** and provider’s **HPI CPN** information with Eclair before contacting Intrahealth support. 
 The following error message is displayed when the **HPI Facility ID **is not configured correctly:

The following error message is displayed when the **HPI CPN** is not configured correctly:

3. In the Eclair browser window, confirm the information in the Order Details tab on the left and, if necessary, enter any clinical details and select the appropriate radio buttons.  In the Standard Lab form tab on the right, select the appropriate tests.   Click the other tabs to select more tests.  Once you are done, press **Next** to review the eOrder details.

4. Once you’ve completed the review, press the **Place Order** button at the bottom of the Review Order page to send the eOrder.

eResults Review

1. Go to the **Medical Record/Results** view for the patient.
2. In the **Results** view toolbar, click the **eResults** icon.

The Eclair browser window will launch and display the lab result(s) for the patient.
