## Profile 8.8.2

Jan. 4, 2023

### Email Enhancements

**Validation of verified patient email addresses**
When a user sends medical information by email to a patient and the email message has failed, the user is alerted to this error and its reason.

**Error visibility and ability to resend emails in outbox**
Error visibility in the outbox is improved as users did not have an intuitive way of understanding an outgoing email's error.  There is also now an easy method to resend emails by bulk that have failed due to a connection error, email bounce-back or other types of similar errors where it simply requires an easy fix or retry.

**Review of outgoing email history for a patient**
Users are able to view an individual patient's outgoing email history in a convenient way.**Email templating**
Email templates can be customized for different types of emails.****

### British Columbia

**Logic change for Attendance linking in New Encounter - Additional changes**
*Appointments*When an appointment has been automatically linked to an encounter, it is also marking the appointment’s status as ‘Seen’ even it has not been set to ‘Arrived’. This is causing confusion to users as it is quite common to open a patient’s encounter details before they have arrived. We have added more flexibility in configuring the ‘Automatically Link Encounter to Appointment’ preference and modified meeting appointment linking behaviour.

**Phone and Fax Numbers missing in built-in requisition forms (Ticket 103176)**
*Investigations*Phone and fax numbers were missing when the SOPLR form or other built-in BC pathology and radiology forms were printed. This has been changed.

**Antenatal form issue with multiple pregnancies (Ticket 105089)**
***Obstetrics***
When we create multiple pregnancies within the Obstetric view, Profile assigns a Pregnancy code to each of them.  As the first pregnancy codes as “Pregnancy1” and the 10th pregnancy codes as “Pregnancy10”,  an issue occurred as the Antenatal form counted these as two of the same pregnancy and data was no longer able to be saved to the Antenatal form. This has been fixed.

**Antenatal form obstetric history issue (Ticket 105256)**
***Obstetrics***
After adding multiple pregnancies in the Obstetrical History section of the Antenatal form, each pregnancy after the first was coded as Pregnancy 2, instead of Pregnancy 3, 4, etc., for those multiple pregnancies. This has been fixed.

***Financial***

Since Medicare transitioned to PRODA, EOB are now based on the common 'Claim ID' for the lodgement day and not the 'Ref' number generated for the specific claim. This caused issues whenever users reconciled batch claims using the 'Process' button from the EOB window. This has been fixed.
