Health Fund Files(AHM,AHSA,BUPA,HBF,HCF,MEDIBANK,StLukes) are now available\:Health fund files for 01-March -2020 are now available.

COVID19 activity saw the MBS Schedule issue four updates - 1 Mar, 13 Mar, 30 Mar, 6 Apr for item numbers.On import of each update Profile closes off the Validity Data Range and creates a new period.  Existing charge rates for others such as health funds are moved forward to the new period.Usually this does not pose a problem.  MBS will issue their rates at the beginning of a month, health funds will issue theirs later on in the month but it is still relevant for the same period.  However, because of the frequent changes to MBS,  Health fund files generated for 1 Mar only update that retrospective period and are not applied to later updates as they didn’t exist at time of original MBS import.In order for them to be included in each validity period it is necessary to import the files for each date range.  This is best done through ‘Import JaffaFolder’.  However, state-wide imports may take longer e.g. BUPA and AHSA. Note:  Each Health fund’s codes and charges are as at 1 Mar.  They will not include codes that were introduced after that date
