# Overview & Requirements

This article will explain how to send Contacts through Internet Faxing.

## Requirements

- In **Organisation/Roles**, ensure that the role action **Can Send Internet Faxes** is granted for the required users or roles, and that Organisation/Control Centre/Manage/Fax Jobs and **Organisation/Control Centre/Manage/Fax Jobs-Open Document** are granted for the required users or roles who will monitor and manage fax jobs.
- Profile v8.7 and above

# Sending Contacts by Internet Faxing

Profile allows sending Contacts (Encounters) through internet faxing using a similar workflow as sending other information with internet faxing.

Go to **Medical Record / Encounters **or **Case / Encounters**

1. Select the Encounter you wish to send

3. On the Print Setup page, select the **Internet Faxing **radio button.

4. Choose the appropriate fax number
5. Press **OK **to fax a copy of the Encounter
