# Overview 

If your organization is hosting a flu clinic where patients can arrive without an appointment, and you need to efficiently administer and record a large number of immunizations, then the 'Immunise Now' feature in Profile can help you streamline and manage this process effectively. 

With this feature, you do not need to fill out the same information over and over again. Instead, you are able to retain chosen information which can ultimately help you and your colleagues save time and keep the clinic running smoothly.

The following article will demonstrate this process.

# Performing Batch Immunisation Entries in Profile

## Retaining repetitive information in Profile. 

1. Click on the Immunise Now icon found in your toolbar.

**Note: **If you do not see the icon in your toolbar, you may need to add it. Read the *Customise the Toolbar* section of the [Tips and Tricks: Customising your Workspace](docId:4j5SuNkkblH9m-7-O1FRV) article for a step by step on how to do this. Note that the Immunise Now icon can be found in the **Activity** Category.

       2. ** **Search for the patient you wish to immunise.

**      ** 3.**  **Fill in the appropriate information from the various fields in the Immunise Now window. See the [How to Enter and                   Edit Immunisations in Profile](docId\:qPgZ4bc60BNorQ8Mh47YK) article for more detail. 

       4.  Click **Retain**.

       5.  The **Set Retain Data Properties** window will open.

       6.   Select any of the desired fields from the list that you wish to retain and click OK to finalise your options.   

       7.   Click **Off **to switch the Retain feature to **On**. The fields you chose to retain will now be highlighted, and the data 

             you entered will be available for any upcoming immunisations.

       8.   Click **OK **to complete the process.

       9.   The next time you go through the process, the details from the retained fields should be visible.

## Changing Details with the Retain Feature On

If you wish to change the details of your retained information such as batch numbers or expiry dates, you can do so by following these steps:

1. Click on the Immunisation Now icon in your toolbar and search for the patient you wish to immunise.

2. You will notice that the retained information is still present in the new** Immunise Now** window. 
3. Alter any of the information that you wish to change.
4. Click **OK **to save the information and have it available for your next patient and immunisation. 

## Turning Off the Retain Feature

You can turn off the retain feature at any time in the Immunisation Now window. 

1. When the Immunisation Now window is open, simply click **On **to turn the return feature to **Off. **
2. Click **OK **and the next time you open the Immunisation Now window, the retained information will no longer be present or highlighted.
