profile provides the ability to register patients for the population based funding (pbf) program with british columbia's ministry of health registering/deregistering patients patients can be registered through the following steps go to alter patient for the patient you wish to register/deregister under the general tab, go to the registered heading and choose yes or no from the dropdown list click apply a window will appear confirming the changes if choosing to deregister, a reason must be chosen from the reason dropdown list click ok to save the patient registration change once a patient's registration status has been changed, it must be sent to the ministry of health and approved for the changes to be saved to the patient profile the skip sending updates a patient's registration status without sending the update to the ministry of health for approval it should only be checked to manually realign a patient status that has come out of sync with the ministry sending registration changes to the ministry of health go to control centre/financial/registration a list of all patients with registration statuses to be approved will appear click process to send these requests for registration changes to the ministry of health the registration window will show all in progress and completed register and deregister requests it is advised to create view filters to only show unsent and overwritten requests by going to the registration filters window from the edit button next to the view filters receiving registration change responses from the ministry of health for the registration change to be saved to the patient's profile, it must be accepted by the ministry of health these acceptances need to be received manually and do not update automatically go to control centre/financial/reconciliation click the receive button to receive the latest responses go to control centre/financial/registration select the registrations that have received a response from the ministry of health and click accept to agree to these responses and update the patient's profile, or override if the ministry of health response is not correct if override is selected, a reason must be given viewing a patient's registration history go to alter patient for the patient you wish to view the registration history of go to registrations this will show all past and current registration changes of the patient exporting a patient register go to organisation/import & export/general under the export tab, select patient export (msva)/monthly patient register export (msva) and click start choose the appropriate msva export parameters and click ok choose a name and location on your computer to save the msva export file and click save wait for the msva file to export
