# Overview

This article addresses how to log in and how to log out via the Profile Modern Login.  These instructions apply to all users.

## Requirements

- Profile V10.0.5
- Installed Profile Server
- Supported Web Browsers: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox. No official support for Microsoft Internet Explorer and Brave. 
- These instructions assume that the necessary [configuration checks and changes](docId:-J2VopghkGA3IMLV50_aS) have been made by a system administrator. 

# Logging In and Out

## Logging In 

1. Launch Profile from the shortcut. Profile first shows the following screen:

2. Enter your **Username** and **Password**.Upon successful login, the following confirmation is displayed.

## Logging Out 

When you are finished using Profile and log out, a webpage appears confirming a successful logout.
