This includes confirming that the information being shared is appropriate for electronic transmission and does not compromise patient privacy or violate any legal obligations. Existing email functionality has been enhanced in various areas in Profile.  This document will cover these enhancements. ## Email API Integration Email can now be sent via an Email API, as an alternative email transfer method. We strongly recommend using Email API as the preferred email transfer method as it offers better delivery speeds and allow for your transactions to happen faster compared to traditional SMTP. 1. Drag the **SendGrid Email** service from the **Available Services** panel and drop it in the **Installed Services** panel. Press **OK** to save the API key.  The** SMTP API key** field value will change from **\** to **\.** 5\. In the **Email Display Name** field, enter the name that you would like to display as the main sender name heading in emails. Typically, this would be the clinic name. In the **Organisation Email Address** field, enter the clinic’s email address. Press **OK** in the SendGrid Email eMessage Properties window to save all the changes. 6. In the **Messages** tab, SendGrid is set as the email delivery service once you’ve set up the SendGrid eMessage service.
