# Overview & Requirements

This article will cover how to create and configure a desktop shortcut for Profile. This process is meant for users accessing Profile via the Single Sign-On (SSO) tool with Okta. It will focus on configuring the SSO shortcut command line.

## Requirements

- SSO is a licensed module and will need to be setup by Intrahealth. Please contact your Intrahealth representative if you wish to enable this feature.
- The user needs to be set up with Okta.
- The user needs to be set up in Profile with an Okta username. 
- Server name
- Database name

# Create & Configure a Profile Desktop Shortcut

## Configure the SSO Shortcut Command Line

In the **Profile** folder, create a shortcut for the Profile application (Profile.exe).

Right click on the new Profile application shortcut and select **Properties**.

1. In **Properties** / **Shortcut** tab, enter the following information in the **Target** field.

After the name of the Profile shortcut application, copy and paste special command line parameters for SSO. -multiinstance -protocol=https-endpoint=\[dB] -serve&#x72;**=**&#x70;ort.yourdomainURL-ValidateSSLCertificate=OFF -sso

For the endpoint value, enter the relevant **database name**. These details will be provided by Support.

For the server value, enter the relevant **server name**. These details will be provided by Support.See the following example: "C:\Users\username\Desktop\Profile\Profile Utility2990\Profile.exe" -multiinstance -protocol=https -endpoint=888/IHEM\_888\_1 -server=port.yourdomainURL -ValidateSSLCertificate=OFF -sso**Note:&#xA0;**&#x54;he URLs above are just an example. Please replace "port.your.domainURL" with your own **Server&#xA0;**&#x66;ound on the **Profile ServerLogin** screen.
