How to Configure the Document Processor Fields in Profile

overview & requirements the document processor window allows you to upload various document types such as photos, articles, results, referrals, correspondence, and clinical notes and seamlessly file them into a patient's medical record this window contains multiple fields, some of which may/may not be relevant to you or your organisation to address this, we've made some of these fields configurable in that they can be included or excluded from the document processor window this article provides details on how to configure the fields displayed in the document processor window it is mainly meant for system administrators and technical users it may also be relevant to clinical and non clinical users requirements available in profile 9 0 9 and above how to configure the document processor fields go to organisation / preferences / general / document processor tab you will notice a number of fields shown in the visible fields of document processor area some of these fields are configurable and some are not the fields that are unavailable (selected and greyed out) cannot be configured the available fields can be configured to include or exclude a particular field in the document processor window choose the (available) field you wish to include/exclude tick or untick the checkbox next to the field name click apply and then ok to close the preferences window the table below indicates which fields are configurable/not, and which fields appear by default/not field name configurable (yes/no) default (yes/no) patient no yes provider no yes pos no yes copies to yes yes transcriptionist yes no transaction date no yes transaction time yes no subject no yes source author yes yes source facility yes yes comment no yes keywords yes no direction yes yes acquired yes yes sign document no yes file location no yes category no yes abnormal yes yes sub category yes no privacy yes yes ext reference yes no source facility report number yes no received date yes yes received time yes no block from patient access yes yes note from profile version 9 0 9 and above, some of the field names and functionality found within the document processor have changed from has been changed to source author pos has been changed to source facility in the source facility drop drown list, the ad hoc option has been added this option is useful if a facility is not yet in your system users simply select the ad hoc option from the drop down list, and can then type in the name of the facility in the free text space directly to the right learn more for more information on the document processor (previously known as the scan processor)please click on the video walkthrough link below video document processor walkthrough docid\ cvgmsjr7jexqggpybgpzo
