# Overview & Requirements

The following article is intended for System Administrators and technical users of Profile.  

It will focus on the steps required to update your existing Profile users to link them to a Microsoft Entra ID account for Single Sign-On.  

## Requirements

- Profile version 10.0.5 or later
- Microsoft Entra ID for your organization's Identity Management
- SSO Microsoft Entra ID license for Profile
- Configuration processes have been completed

# Configure Existing Users for SSO with Microsoft Entra ID in Profile

1. Log into Profile with a user account that has access to modify users.
2. Go to **Organisation / People & Places**.
3. Click on a user to link their account to a Microsoft Entra ID account.
4. Go to **Special **on the left.
5. Check **SSO Username**.
6. Type the user's corresponding Microsoft Entra ID email account into **SSO Username** field. Please note that each Microsoft Entra ID account must be unique; no two users in Profile can share the same Microsoft Entra ID account.
7. Select the **User can log in externally** checkbox if the user needs to access Profile from a network outside the Profile server. If unsure, consult your Intrahealth Customer Success Manager. 
8. Click **OK. **
