# Overview & Requirements

The following article is intended for System Administrators and technical users of Profile.
It will explain how to create a new Profile user and link them to a Microsoft Entra ID account for Single Sign-On (SSO).

## Requirements

- Profile version 10.0.5 or later
- Microsoft Entra ID for your organization's Identity Management
- SSO Microsoft Entra ID license for Profile
- Configuration processes have been completed

# Add New Users to Profile for SSO with Microsoft Entra ID in Profile

1. Ensure the user has a Microsoft Entra ID account in your organisation's Microsoft Entra ID instance.
2. Create a new user in Profile. 
3. Go to **Special** on the left for user's setting.
4. Check **SSO Username**.
5. Type the user's corresponding Microsoft Entra ID email account into **SSO Username **field.
6. Select the **User can log in externally** checkbox if the user needs to access Profile from a network outside the Profile server. If unsure, consult your Intrahealth Customer Success Manager.
7. Click **OK**.
