Users are encouraged to transition to the **web versions** for continued access. **Key Details:** -A persistent deprecation notice will appear on every app launch, informing users of the transition. -The web versions are optimised for all devices, **offering enhanced features, better security, and a seamless user experience.** -During the transition period, users can still access app features after acknowledging the notice. -Post-deprecation, the app will display a message directing users to the web version, with a customer-friendly link (e.g., "Health Connect" or "Provider Direct") to the web portal. **Action Required:** -Users should begin transitioning to the web version to ensure uninterrupted access to their accounts. ::: # Overview & Requirements This article is targeted at users of Profile Health Connect. Health Connect allows the patient to be an active participant in their care, using their smartphone, tablet, or computer. Depending on the access permissions set up by the clinic, the patient can make appointments, request prescription refills and review their clinical information, among many other actions. This article describes all areas of Health Connect. # Requirements - App Updates:  - Users must update the app to the latest version from the App Store to ensure compatibility and access to the latest features.  - Portal Installation:  - Ensure that portals are correctly installed within the Profile build. Ensure that web servers are correctly configured. Ensure all Rules specified in the technical installation guide is configured correctly. Please reach out to Support if you have any questions regarding this step.  - Version Compatibility: - Version 9 and above: Supports the portal (Patient Portal) - Version 10.1 and above: Supports the rebranded portal (Health Connect) - Version Alignment: - Profile version 9 grants access to version 9 of the portal - Profile version 10.0.2 grants access to version 10.0.2 of the portal :::hint{type="info"} **Note: **Any mention of Aero Patient in the videos below pertains to the Health Connect portal ::: ::embed[]{url="https://www.youtube.com/embed/b5oJBhFI8tQ?&wmode=opaque"} # Details When Health Connect is licensed, your clinic will be given a URL to provide to your patients to use the Health Connect and App.  Access to the Health Connect is granted on a patient-by-patient basis and is configured within Profile. ## Logging in to the Application When the patient gets the app, they will be prompted to enter their username, password, and, for the first time, the URL.   After successful log in, they will be at the Home screen of the Health Connect app. ## Logging in to the Web Patients will access the URL given to them by the clinic. When the page loads, they will be prompted to enter in their Username and Password.
