From the 8th March 2021 the COVID-19 Immunisation Register (CIR) is live.   Any COVID-19 immunisations administered to people in NZ will be recorded in the CIR.  These immunisations will be notified to PMS systems via HealthLink.

Intrahealth have implemented changes into Profile systems to support the import of these notifications.

Key points:

- An upgrade to the latest Profile build 8.4.92 is required
- Notifications will be received via HealthLink NIR folder and imported the same as NIR immunisation notifications
- A new COVID-19 care plan is available to add to the medical record
- Matching of COVID-19 immunisations to a patient can be completed using NIR from the Work Centre
