It will focus the ways users can use MedChart in the New Encounter view primarily around on how to: - [Complete a Phone Order via the New Encounter View](docId\:sFLzY8aurMDcZR0yVeeGa) - [Complete a Third-Party Order via the New Encounter View](docId\:sFLzY8aurMDcZR0yVeeGa) ## Feature Requirements - Medchart is available in Profile version 8 and above.  - Access to Profile's licensed Medication module # Completing a Phone Order via the New Encounter View A phone order can be created by a nurse when a medical officer is not available to issue the medication order themselves in Profile. The overall process is the same as creating a new medication order, however it is important to select the correct method and add the name of the authorised orderer. ::::WorkflowBlock :::WorkflowBlockItem Create a New Encounter ::: :::WorkflowBlockItem In the action panel click on **MedChart**, the details of the patient's existing medication orders will be displayed in the bottom half of the screen (as per above). It's important to note that the view will default to display current medications. Create a **New Encounter**. 2. In the action panel click on **MedChart**, the details of the patient's existing medications will be displayed in the bottom half of the screen (as per above). It's important to note that the view will default to display current medications.
