# Careflow: Supporting Safer, Smarter Medication Administration

Profile's Careflow feature streamlines medication administration in inpatient settings, supporting nurses and clinicians with timely, accurate access to patient medication schedules. It enables staff to view and manage the planned administration of medications across a selected group of patients - offering clarity, efficiency, and improved coordination of care. 

Careflow also allows for real-time documentation of medication administration and includes safeguards that alert staff if a PRN (as needed) medication is being administered too early, helping to reduce risk and promote patient safety. 

Careflow is part of Profile's licensed Rx Dispense and Administer licensed module, which can be used independently or integrated with existing prescribing functions. 

Careflow is intended for inpatient settings but can be utilised for outpatients requiring close medication monitoring.
