Users are encouraged to transition to the **web versions** for continued access. **Key Details:** -A persistent deprecation notice will appear on every app launch, informing users of the transition. -The web versions are optimised for all devices, **offering enhanced features, better security, and a seamless user experience.** -During the transition period, users can still access app features after acknowledging the notice. -Post-deprecation, the app will display a message directing users to the web version, with a customer-friendly link (e.g., "Health Connect" or "Provider Direct") to the web portal. **Action Required:** -Users should begin transitioning to the web version to ensure uninterrupted access to their accounts. ::: # Appointments Health Connect and Accession offer convenience and efficiency for patients and healthcare organisations. Both Accession and Health Connect each have a number of useful features that work alongside Profile. The appointments feature, in both of these products, allows patients to easily book and manage their appointments. It can also help to save the clinic valuable administrative time.  Patients can search from a range of dates and select from a variety of drop-down items to help them choose an appointment that will best suit their needs. It reduces phone volume for the clinic, as well patient no-shows. The appointment feature is also customisable, from within Profile, to fit the interests and preferences of a healthcare organisation.   The following article will look at the functionality of the appointments feature within both Accession and Health Connect. # Feature Overview ## Health Connect ### Book an appointment From the** Home **screen on Health Connect, select **Appointments**. Once you do this, a list of available dates and times will appear. Select **Yes** when the confirmation window appears. This can be done by creating and using multiple OnTheGo Profiles.  An OnTheGo Profile is a set list of preference settings.
