The Appointments view shows a provider's hours of availability and the standard length of appointments for that provider. 

To book a non-standard appointment or an appointment outside of the provider's regular hours, complete the following steps:

Hover your mouse over the start of the appointment you want to book.

Click and drag to create a box over the appointment slot. 

- A tooltip will follow the pointer and show the start and end times of the box.

Release the mouse button when you have the appointment slot you want.

- The New Appointment window appears.

Complete the required information.

Confirm that the Time panel correctly shows the correct Start Time, for (duration), and with (the provider).
