--- title: Appointments List slug: portal-sub/appointments-list docTags: createdAt: 2026-03-04T12:03:13.102Z --- # Overview  ## Appointments List Feature The Appointments List view gives clinics the ability to send out multiple appointment reminders to patients, which can help to save valuable administrative time.  It also provides another way of viewing and filtering through any upcoming appointments. Details such as confirmation status, notification methods, dates and times, POS, and provider are all visible from this view.  The following article will focus on the functionality of the Appointments List view in Profile. There are also some helpful videos that cover this feature in the Videos folder. Click on [Working with the Appointments List view](docId\:n7LKLfnhoSsz9pnIaTPJG) and [Exploring the filter options in the Appointments List view](docId\:ynUrdRNpwXupwVVVy9dP2) to watch each of the videos directly. ## View Upcoming appointments and Confirmation details Go to **Control Centre /  Schedule / Appointments List.** In the **Appointments List** view, clinics can see upcoming appointments, and associated details.  The patients name, confirmation status, how they can be notified, the date and time of the appointment, POS, Provider, and whether or not the appointment type is for Telemedicine can all be seen here. This list can also be modified and/or added to. - Confirmation status is visible by the icons that appear in the **Confirmed** column. If the patient has confirmed their appointment, a green circle with a white tick mark will appear. A blank space indicates that the appointment is not a telemedicine appointment. views in the **Appointments List**. Potential filter views could focus on all appointments for the current day, for the next day, for a particular provider, and so on.  ### Select a different filter view Click on the downward arrow in the **View** drop-down list and choose the required filter view. ![](https://api.qa.archbee.co/api/optimize/zICxj0dnLereb6UUrBA3-/yPYxw6v98YOieW6E0b1c9_bhww9xpnrqv2vgdi9estlrtghgqtbin4a.png) ### Modify a filter view To modify a filter view select **Edit**. Choose the filter view needing modification. Click** OK** to close the confirmation window. ## Open Appointments List first function The **Control Centre **can be modified to open first on the **Appointments List** view. If this view will be used often, doing so can help to save valuable time. Right click on the blue, left navigation panel in **Control Centre **and select **Preferences.** Choose **Appointment Lists** from the drop-down list in the **Show view on open** field.
