This article is intended for any user wanting to know how to add a profile picture for a patient in hCare.

# Information

Patient profiles will appear in hCare as a turquoise circle with their listed initials. Users have the ability to upload a photo to change these profile pictures.

## Uploading a photo for a patient

1. From the Provider Home, tap on a patient's name to enter Patient Home for that patient.
2. On the sidebar on the left-hand side, tap **Update Photo **

3. A screen will open showing the patient's current photo. Tap **Attach File **

4. Select **Choose from Library **to upload a photo saved on the device or **Take Photo **to directly upload a photo from the iPad camera. Once uploaded, a preview of the updated profile picture will appear with the chosen photo.
5. Tap **Upload**
