This article is intended for any user wanting to add a new patient profile into hCare.

# Workflow

1.  Tap the **Quick Items (+)**

** **button on the bottom-right corner of the screen and select **New Patient **

to open the New Patient screen.

2. Fill out the relevant fields in the New Patient screen. The **First Name**, **Last Name **and **Date of birth **fields are required to save the patient record.
3. Tap **Save** on the top-right corner of the screen to save the patient profile.
