## Release 18

Jan. 4, 2023

### Changes

**Logic change for Attendance linking in New Encounter - Additional changes**When an appointment has been automatically linked to an encounter, it is also marking the appointment’s status as ‘Seen’ even it has not been set to ‘Arrived’. This is causing confusion to users as it is quite common to open a patient’s encounter details before they have arrived. We have added more flexibility in configuring the ‘Automatically Link Encounter to Appointment’ preference and modified meeting appointment linking behaviour.

**End of Encounter document printing change (Ticket 98090, 96966)**Documents can be added as action links in an Encounter via Macro, and these can be prompted for printing if End of Encounter functionality is enabled. Previously, if there were multiple documents, they were printed together with a single print job. Now, there are separate print dialogs as with other items in End of Encounter.

### Defect Fixes

**Antenatal Observations issue (Ticket 103107)**After adding measures for the patient in the Clinical Details/Measures tab the value in Gest(wk) column of section 17 antenatal observations was not getting populated. This has been fixed.

**Show Copies issue in Unsigned transactions of Today view (Ticket 104717)**Unsigned transactions copied to a provider would not appear in the Today view, Unsigned transactions category, even if “Show Copies”. was set in the filter. This has been fixed.

**POS filter issue in Unsigned Transactions**In Unsigned Transactions, when a filter was configured to see only a specific POS, the full list of the transaction and its copies were displayed even if some had been assigned to a different POS. This has been fixed.

**CDX import not assigning POS (Ticket 103421)**The Clinical Document Exchange (CDX) service would not associate the POS with the imported transactions. The POS field in the Properties window of the imported transactions was blank. This has been fixed.

**Copy To Role issue on macro "OnOpenView" event (Ticket 104252)**Under Edit/Default, users can select the Macro tab and set a macro to run on the "OnOpenView" event. When the user selected the Role radio button and pressed the “Copy To..” button to copy the new setting, the macro selected to run on the "OnOpenView" event would disappear from the original role from which the macro was copied. This has been fixed.

**Memo card not saving properly (Ticket 101778)**The memo card is saved when the Medical Record window is closed. If two users opened the same medical record and edited the memo card at the same time, the edit of the user who closed the medical record first was saved despite editing being locked because of the second user. This has been fixed.

**Antenatal form issue with multiple pregnancies (Ticket 105089)**When we create multiple pregnancies within the Obstetric view, Profile assigns a Pregnancy code to each of them. As the first pregnancy codes as “Pregnancy1” and the 10th pregnancy codes as “Pregnancy10”, an issue occurred as the Antenatal form counted these as two of the same pregnancy and data was no longer able to be saved to the Antenatal form. This has been fixed.

**Antenatal form obstetric history issue (Ticket 105256)**After adding multiple pregnancies in the Obstetrical History section of the Antenatal form, each pregnancy after the first was coded as Pregnancy 2, instead of Pregnancy 3, 4, etc., for those multiple pregnancies. This has been fixed.

**Profile crashes in Results and Unsigned Transactions with Adobe Acrobat (Ticket 101579)**When Adobe Acrobat was used as a pdf viewer, Profile frequently crashed when a user selected a result in the Results or Unsigned Transactions view, caused by a bug in Adobe Acrobat. We have added better control while destroying the Adobe Acrobat component and significantly reduced probability of the bug occurring.

**Display issue with name in BC SOPLR Requisition (Ticket 90824)**Long patient first name was causing it to appear in the Last Name field in the BC SOPLR requisition form. This has been fixed.

**Chat notification missing username (Ticket 87764)In certain situations, when the preference "Show chat status notifications" was enabled, the chat notification wasn't displaying the username of the user, but instead just "User" and the status. This has been fixed.**

**Form.Print function issue in print setup window (Ticket 93744)**
**When using the new AddFaxRecipient functions and Form.Print function in a macro to update the print setup window, it would not pull in the fax recipient (name and fax number). This has been fixed.**

**First Databank to Vigilance Santé conversion separated by Object (Ticket 100181)**Previously, there was a single item in Control Centre/Bulk Updating named ‘Usual Medications, Prescriptions, Instruction Templates, Adverse Reactions (First Databank to Vigilance Sante)’ which would convert all these categories of objects at once. This has been enhanced to allow conversion of only some of these categories of objects and not others.

This has been fixed.

**Reactivating discontinued script issue with Rx Vigilance (Ticket 99986)**When reactivating a discontinued script, pressing either Yes or No in the subsequent dialog box asking to convert (Yes button) or prescribe as Ad Hoc (No button) would result in an error. This has been fixed.**Issue adding adverse reactions with Rx Vigilance (Ticket 99912)**Users were not able to add some adverse reactions when using Rx Vigilance. This has been fixed.

A new configurable panel has been added to the Transactions view filter to allow this.

This has been fixed.

### Bug Fixes

**Cancelling pregnancy issue (SPR JUN54853)**When the Antenatal Form was opened and then a pregnancy created, if the pregnancy was cancelled and the user went to look at another area of the Medical Record, the pregnancy was still created. When the user went back to create a new pregnancy, the newly created pregnancy would receive the same pregnancy problem code as the erroneously created pregnancy. This then caused an issue when adding or altering information in the Antenatal Form, as upon saving, the proper pregnancy would not be recognized as valid and therefore, the form could not be saved. This has been fixed.

**Indigenous view mandatory field issue (SPR SWA54796)**The first mandatory field in the Indigenous view in Alter Patient was getting validated even if the Indigenous view was not being displayed. This has been fixed.

This has been fixed by creating new print variables for the appointment date and time which take the time zone of the POS into account: Letter.Context.Appointment.DateAtPOS; Letter.Context.Appointment.Time24AtPOS; Letter.Context.Appointment.TimeAMPMAtPOS.

**CDO forms force save issue (SPR JUN54419)**In Profile 8.5.0, the behaviour was changed in CDO forms to cause them to force being saved in some circumstances where they didn’t require saving before, such as printing. ### Bug Fixes

**Logic change for Attendance linking in New Encounter (SPR GRA54833)**Two issues were found when testing the recent changes. These have been fixed.

## Release 12

June 13, 2022

### Changes

**Logic change for Attendance linking in New Encounter (SPR GRA54697)**In Profile 8.4 and earlier, an appointment was immediately marked as seen when a provider/user double-clicked it to open the Medical Record/New Encounter. In Profile 8.5, a change was made to mark the appointment as seen when an encounter is linked to it and saved. This caused issues when the patient had multiple appointments with different providers on the same day because the encounter was automatically linking the latest arrived appointment. Now, the behaviour has been changed so when a user double clicks on an appointment and the Medical Record/Case is opened, the appointment context will be remembered for the duration that Medical Record/Case is open. If multiple arrived appointments exist for the patient and if there is an appointment context in the Medical Record/Case window, the appointment is linked to the Encounter and immediately marked as seen. If there isn’t an appointment context, Profile will automatically link the logged-in provider’s (or Works For provider’s) appointment with the encounter where the Appointment Date equals Today and immediately mark it as seen. If none are with the logged-in provider, then a dialog box will be shown for the user to select the appropriate appointment.

**Enhancement to Copy toolbars to roles (SPR SWA54066)**The Copy to role functionality in toolbars has been enhanced to allow the user to copy the preferences to multiple roles, exactly like the previously existing feature in preferences and filters.

**\[CDX] Reply Document Category Logic change (SPR TON54117)**CDX documents have a special behaviour which limits what category of documents can be sent as a Reply depending on the category of the item to which there is a reply. These mappings have been updated to have more logical options.

**\[CDX] mediaType and representation properties added (SPR TON54620)**When sending documents via CDX, the required mediaType and representation properties in the clinicalDocument.component.nonXMLBody.text element have now been added to the outgoing CDA XML document so the text body of the message displays in the CDA message as a result.

### Bug Fixes

**Incorrect Provider displayed in Care Teams (SPR VIC59629)**When a new Care Team role was created and the Provider type was changed with a provider added in the adjacent field, a different provider is displayed in the Provider column in the Care Teams view. This has been fixed.

**\[BC Antenatal Form] Ultrasound and other Imaging Investigations Date display issue (SPR TON54735)**In the new BC Antenatal Form – Section 15. Ultrasound and other Imaging Investigations panel, the date column was not displaying the date once the form had been saved. This has been fixed.

**\[CDX] New Document Categories added (SPR GRA53829)**We previously mapped the CDX Document Categories ‘Note’ and ‘General Purpose Notification’ to our existing Document Category short codes ‘Scanned Documents’ and ‘Information Disclosure’, but we have now created them as their own categories and short codes to align with the terminology used in CDX.

**\[CDX] Missing clinician phone number document element (SPR TON54130)**When sending documents via CDX to other EMR groups, the Clinician phone number was not included in the eMessage. This has been fixed and the Clinician telephone number has been added as a document element as it is a document format requirement for other EMR groups.

**Appointment List displaying wrong SMS message result (SPR GRA53630)**If appointment reminder SMS messages were sent manually from the Appointment List view of the Control Centre, they would always display “SMS was submitted successfully” in the Result column, even if the SMS messages failed. This has been fixed.

**SRFax retries issue (SPR GRA54006)**There was a hard-coded value of 1 for attempts (retries) in the SRFax eMessage Service. This has been fixed to use the configurable Max Retries value in the eMessage Service.

**Patient eligibility display error (SPR GRA53632)**If there was an error on the Teleplan side when a real-time verification check was done in Profile, the response was received as “No Response” but the status was incorrectly recorded and displayed as “Not Eligible”. This has been fixed and the status now displays “Not Checked”.
