If you use

RFID

scanners, make sure your

iOS

device is compatible with your version of the mobile app: 

- VAS Platform\:Variable\{key="Mobile-UI.MobileAppVersion1" type="variable"}: iOS versions 18.3.2 and lower. Do **not** upgrade to iOS versions 18.4.0 or greater and be sure to disable automatic updates in iOS settings.
- DC on Mobile(v2): All recent iOS versions, including 18.4.0 and above.

Android: Most low-frequency RFID scanners, including the following brands:

- Allflex
- Agrident
- Datamars
- Tru-Test
- All VAS-branded models

iOS:

- Allflex APR250 RFID scanner
- Allflex APR600 RFID scanner
- Allflex APR650 RFID scanner
- Allflex AWR300 RFID scanner
- LPR series Livestock Pocket Reader
- RS420 Series Stick Reader

### Was My Scanner Purchased from VAS?

Check the back of your scanner to confirm if it was purchased from VAS. All scanners purchased from VAS have VAS** Scan the QR** code stickers.

You can scan animals with the mobile app after you pair and connect your RFID scanners to your device. The mobile app supports Bluetooth connections with RFID wands and scanners. However, the iOS and Android versions of the mobile app each work a bit differently with Bluetooth wands/scanners.
