smaXtec/VAS Data Details

and the exchange animal data every 6 hours, and all alerts or events are categorized as a diagnosis, health related, or reproduction related health and reproduction items are used to populate worklists see the sections below for more details on available and data and alerts vas data the following diagnosis events and other items are sent from to smaxtec diagnosis events icon event description diagnosis one of the following diseases was diagnosed (da) (mast) (metr) (mf) (keto) lameness ( ) (pneu) (rp) | items item definition birthdate ( ) date the animal was born device /transponder # (trans) identification number for the bolus 15 digit electronic id number associated with the animal eartag date/calving date ( ) date of event (calving) for the current lactation heat date ( ) date of last bred event in the current lactation insemination date/conception date ( ) date of insemination/conception pregnancy event ( ) the animal was examined and is pregnant smaxtec health alerts the following health related alerts are sent to by smaxtec activity icon alert observations from increase in activity on \<date> at \<time> there was a significant increase in activity please conduct visual oestrus checks and inseminate lactating and non pregnant animals drop in activity on \<date> at \<time> animal activity levels clearly dropped indication of deterioration in health (e g incipient lameness) drinking icon alert observations from insufficient water intake(indication of too few daily drinking cycles) on \<date> the number of drinking cycles was \<value> please check provision of water and state of health (e g heat stress) increase in drinking cycles(indication of an increase in number of drinking cycles compared with the previous day) on \<date> animal drank \<value> times more than the previous day please check animal's state of health and possible heat stress reduced drinking cycles(indication of a drop in the number of drinking cycles in comparison with the previous day) on \<date> animal drank \<value> times less than the previous day please check provision of water and animal's state of health (e g heat stress) feeding (premium bolus only) icon alert observations from feed efficiency(indication of reduced feed efficiency) on \<date> there were large fluctuations in ph (ph daily amplitude of \<value>), which reduce nutrient utilization (information about feed supply) possible causes monitor feed management (frequency and regularity of feed provision, feed push up, animal/feeding place ratio, ) check ration composition mixed rations check mixing accuracy, check for feed separation and/or selective feeding check animal's state of health (e g lameness) | \| | risk of (indication of an increased risk of acidosis) | on \<date> the ph was below 5 8 for \<value> minutes check ration (energy density, staple feed percentage, fibre content) for mixed rations check mixing accuracy, monitor feed segregation and/or selection | ph variation (premium bolus only) icon alert observations from increase in average ph(indication of abrupt increase in average daily ph in comparison with the previous day) on \<date> the average daily ph increased in comparison with the previous day by \<value> possible causes sudden changes or errors in feeding management (ration composition, selective feeding), animal dependent reduction in feed uptake ('off feed syndrome' to illness) drop in average ph(indication of an abrupt drop in average daily ph compared to the previous day) on \<date> the average daily ph dropped in comparison to the previous day by \<value> possible causes sudden changes or errors in feed management (ration composition, selection) increase in 12h ph(indication of abrupt increase in average ph after 12 hours) on \<date> at \<time> the average ph after 12 hours increased in comparison with the previous average ph value after 12 hours by \<value> drop in 12h ph(indication of abrupt drop in average ph after 12 hours) on \<date> at \<time> the average ph after 12 hours dropped in comparison with the previous average ph value after 12 hours by \<value> heat stress icon alert observations from thi ≥ 72 heat stress(early indication of heat stress) on \<date> at \<time> the temperature humidity index (thi) increased to over 72 thi ≥ 78 heat stress(clearly increasing heat stress level) on \<date> at \<time> the temperature humidity index (thi) increased to over 78 thi ≥ 82 heat stress(serious heat stress) on \<date> at \<time> the temperature humidity index (thi) increased to over 82 temperature icon alert message from (observations) temperature increase on \<date> at \<time> there was a clear increase in temperature possible causes indication of a feverish disorder heat stress (high humidity and ambient temperature in the animal shed) | \| | temperature drop | on \<date> at \<time> there was a clear drop in temperature indication of onset of a metabolic disorder (parturient paresis, ketosis, ) or another disorder (check animal's state of health) in rare cases this can also occur due to imminent calving | smaxtec reproduction alerts the following reproduction related alerts are sent to by smaxtec calving icon alert observations from dry off all animals that are between 80 and 40 days before calving indication of imminent calving on \<date> at \<time> there was a clear drop in temperature in the calving period indication of imminent calving within the next 36 hours in rare cases this can also occur due to a metabolic disorder (parturient paresis (milk fever), ketosis, ) or another disorder (check animal's state of health) detection of a calving calving detection activated in the period of calving date +/ 14 days confirmation of a calving calving confirmation abortion of a pregnancy which can be a late abort abort fertility icon alert observations from detection of a heat heat inseminated of an animal all animals that had a detected heat in the last 36h a positive or negative pregnancy result pregnancy examination oestrus (heat) on \<date> at \<time> there was a significant increase in activity please conduct visual oestrus checks and inseminate if appropriate < return to smaxtec overview docid\ euxnww pwwovbycglg8 7
