### Can't find this feature? Make sure it's included in your subscription!

This feature/option is available only for MyDC subscribers. DC Unlimited subscribers will not see it in PULSE because this functionality is controlled in on-premiseDairyComp rather than in PULSE.

Click [here](docId\:jwUSXGpK0Q1fVyl3QyB1n) to learn more about the different versions of PULSE.

### Required Permissions

- To connect the integration to your DRPC, your PULSE user account must be assigned to a Role with **Integration Management** permissions.
- To access the Milk Recording option(s) under [Quick Actions](docId:2nbMm0WUMF_NcRGAIQWGV), your PULSE user account must be assigned to a Role with **Partner File Export **and **Partner File Import** permissions. VAS recommends using the **Field Technician** Role for your milk testers to provide them with the required access.

See [Edit Dairy User Permissions](docId\:dgKiJJMfdmpDvWGygh_P2) and [Manage Dairy Roles](docId\:tklz3_ROmKlipE8l-rFi6) for more information.

The PULSEMilk Recording feature allows MyDCdairies to share their latest animal records with their DRPC. This task is typically done on a monthly or bi-monthly basis, when your dairy completes their scheduled milk testing. After the DRPC testday results are returned to PULSE, you can view the results on individual animals' CowCards, on the [Testdays](docId\:Tl_Rs1GidsHcG0WW8YTr1) tab.

Follow the steps below to connect the integration and begin using the PULSEMilk Recording feature:

## Step 1: Connect the integration

1. In PULSE, navigate to **Partners **>** Integrations Gallery** and locate your DRPC.
2. Click**See Details** or **See Requirements** on your DRPC's card.
3. Review the Connection Instructions on the right side of the page. Then click the **Connection Status** toggle and verify the status switches to **Active**.

## Step 2: Manage animal records on testday

PULSE allows you to manage herd data on testday, including sharing the animal records that have changed since the previous testday with your DRPC. The updated records file includes animals added to the herd, new animal events, and, if selected, milk weight details.

Follow the steps below when working with your milk tester to collect samples and submit your latest animal records. The steps required depend on your DRPC:

### Export records for AgSource

1. Go to [Quick Actions](docId:2nbMm0WUMF_NcRGAIQWGV) on your [Home (Dairy Profile)](docId:2nbMm0WUMF_NcRGAIQWGV) page and click **Export**.

::Image[]{src="https://api.qa.archbee.co/api/optimize/zICxj0dnLereb6UUrBA3-/pKJum3RaAipiMFnRgIz2v_quick-actions-export.png" size="100" isUploading="false" initialPath="../../../Resources/Images/Platform/dairy-profile/quick-actions-export.png" githubPath="Content/Resources/Images/Platform/dairy-profile/quick-actions-export.png" position="flex-start" showCaption="false" indent="2"}

2. Click the **Export** button to save the latest animal records file (SSF format).

::Image[]{src="https://api.qa.archbee.co/api/optimize/zICxj0dnLereb6UUrBA3-/ll0g_hss3Mq8A3B8cFqzq_quick-actions-export-milk-weights-hidden.png" size="100" isUploading="false" initialPath="../../../Resources/Images/Platform/dairy-profile/quick-actions-export-milk-weights-hidden.png" githubPath="Content/Resources/Images/Platform/dairy-profile/quick-actions-export-milk-weights-hidden.png" position="flex-start" showCaption="false" indent="2"}

### Import and export records for AgriTech or Amelicor

1. Go to [Quick Actions](docId:2nbMm0WUMF_NcRGAIQWGV) on your [Home (Dairy Profile)](docId:2nbMm0WUMF_NcRGAIQWGV) page and click **Export** Data for Milk Testing.

::Image[]{src="https://api.qa.archbee.co/api/optimize/zICxj0dnLereb6UUrBA3-/Ma8M-UrS2zku5ROI0SeLZ_quick-actions-milk-recording-superv.png" size="96" isUploading="false" initialPath="../../../Resources/Images/Platform/dairy-profile/quick-actions-milk-recording-superv.png" githubPath="Content/Resources/Images/Platform/dairy-profile/quick-actions-milk-recording-superv.png" position="flex-start" showCaption="false" indent="2"}

:::Paragraph{indent="1"}
The file (DAT format) is saved to your local Downloads folder. Provide the file to your milk tester to import into their milk recording program.
:::

2. After milk weights are collected, click **Import** Preliminary Milk File to pull in the SuperV file (CR300.q format) from your milk tester. This file creates a preliminary testday record in PULSE. After the import completes, you can view a brief summary of testday record updates and errors by selecting Dairy** > Shared Files** and then the **Parlor** tab.

:::Paragraph{indent="1"}
You can also view the preliminary testday record on an animal's CowCard[Testdays](docId\:Tl_Rs1GidsHcG0WW8YTr1) tab. PULSE shows the results as "0" until the testday samples are processed and your DRPC returns the results.

## Step 3: View your testday results

PULSE automatically imports your DRPC testday results from the latest file (DNL format) when it becomes available, usually within a few days.

After your testday data is imported, you can view a [herd-level summary](docId\:XsyMC7N0aAcM15p4HZQid) of the testday results or individual animal results from the [CowCard](docId\:Tl_Rs1GidsHcG0WW8YTr1).
