While the original version of the VAS Platform(v1) mobile app remains available to most markets and we continue to support it, VAS released a newer version of the app: DC on Mobile(v2). As a result, we are no longer adding new features to the VAS Platform(v1) mobile app. For more information about the mobile apps VAS currently offers, see [Mobile Apps](docId\:LrbWjLC6pBiEQt-JRs1XB).

**IMPORTANT: **

If you use

RFID

scanners, make sure your

iOS

device is compatible with your version of the mobile app: 

- VAS Platform\:Variable\{key="Mobile-UI.MobileAppVersion1" type="variable"}: iOS versions 18.3.2 and lower. Do **not** upgrade to iOS versions 18.4.0 or greater and be sure to disable automatic updates in iOS settings.
- DC on Mobile(v2): All recent iOS versions, including 18.4.0 and above.

Known issues and workarounds for the VAS Platform(v1) mobile app include:

- April2025: Datamars RFID scanners are not supported.
- April2025: Edit Remark Information in DairyComp[Event Definitions](docId\:m_xV2dsSKybZQUA395F8Z) is not supported.
- April2025: The [Transaction Log (v2)](docId:7GOFl21GIwW_sZxreFK51) is not available.
- April2025: The [COLOSTRUM Event (MyDC only)](docId\:Fhd_ACs0TzpD_D41FR6Lh) is not available.
- I
- April2025: The [Add Custom Tasks Directly from the Tasks Tab in the CowCard](docId\:IIoqVYhAUrfts4ygyrbnG) feature is not available.
- April2025: Events entered in late afternoons or evenings may have the wrong date. We recommend that app users who reside in late UTC offset time zones refrain from entering events in late afternoons/evenings or upgrade to the DC on Mobile(v2) mobile app.
- April2025: A dark mode theme is not available.
