Any user inside or outside of your dairy can use PULSE. You can either [invite them to view your dairy](docId\:mVJQDCxBsEh5y66GJzwEN), or they can [request access to your dairy](docId\:KphPYW0dXA_f3VwiMd_bH) on their own. When sharing your data with your vet, nutritionist, or any other outside consultant, you can use Role assignments to set their Platform permissions.

Within the default roles that are available, you will find one for **Vet **Consultant that provides the typical permissions usually required by your vet (see example below). Dairy**User** permissions are controlled entirely through **Role** assignments. To edit dairy user permissions, open the [Dairy menu](docId\:T93yU--9puoivxMGYpo5g), navigate to User Management, and select the **Users** or **Roles** option.
