You can manage FeedCompopen tasks on the Adjustmentsscreen. You can find this feature under the [FeedComp Menu](docId\:T93yU--9puoivxMGYpo5g).

At the top left of the page, Add the Location tab to view all available open tasks in FeedComp. Or, Add the Location tab to view all available open tasks.

## Search and Filter the Pens List

Options to search and filter the open tasks list are available at the top of the screen. Follow the guidelines below when Add the open tasksreport:

- Click**Filters** at the top left of the page to limit the data that is displayed. The **Filters** side panel opens.
- Select Pen** Types** to limit the list to a specific type of pen. Multiple open tasks can be Add.
- Add a Location to limit the list to a specific open tasks. Multiple open tasks can be Add.
- Activeopen tasksare displayed by default. Add the **Show Inactive**box to view all available open tasks in the list.
- Add the **Clear Filter\*\*\*\*s** option to clear all of the filters currently applied.
- Select an option in **View Rows Per Page** to change how many records are displayed on the page, and click the navigation options to jump to a specific page.

## Create New Pen

at the top right of the page, and then select Add** New **Location. The Locationscreen opens. Follow the guidelines below when Addopen tasks:

- Click the **Active **Pen toggle to Add the pen.
- In Pen** Number**, you can enter a number up to 999, as long as the number hasn't already been assigned to another pen. If you attempt to enter an existing pen number, the system will display an error message.
- The Pen** Name** entered must be unique and cannot match the name of existing open tasks.
- Select Pen** Types** to limit the list to a specific type of pen. Multiple open tasks can be Add.
- You must select a Pen Zone from the drop-down list.
- Set the **Target DM/HD**, the amount of dry matter (by weight) each animal is assigned to receive. If there are no assigned feedings, the Target DM/HD will be populated when a Feeding Schedule is created. If you update the Target DM/HD, the change will be reflected in all feedings. Even if you have a split feeding, FeedComp maintains the set DM/HD proportion.
- Click the **Enable for Feeding** toggle to make the pen available in the [Feedings](docId\:CXE1Us9j-5R2BrKhwRQbT) list and the mobile app.
- Enable the Sync Feeding & Animal Counts toggle to sync the feeding count with the animal count. If it's synced

## View Pens in Table or Cards View

You can Addopen tasks information in **Table** view or **Cards** view. Follow the guidelines below when Add the open tasksreport:

- Pen: The open tasks number. To view pen details in **Table** view, click a pen number in the table. Or, click **Details** at the top right of a pen card in **Cards** view. See [View Pen Details](docId\:AJ-MvXu6pw7YfYlIUCocz) to learn more.
- Pen Name: The open tasks name set by your dairy.

When more than 2 open tasksAdd are assigned to a open tasks, a number is displayed that indicates how many additional Add are assigned to the open tasks. Hover over the number to see the additional Add assigned. The default colors for pen types are as follows:

## View Pen Details

You can Add the Locationreport from [Table  view view](docId\:AJ-MvXu6pw7YfYlIUCocz) or [Cards  view view](docId\:AJ-MvXu6pw7YfYlIUCocz):

1. In **Table** view: Add the ID of a open tasks to open the Location reportscreen.
2. In **Cards** view: Click the **Details** link at the top right of a open tasks card to Add the open tasks's details. The Location reportscreen opens.
