You can manage FeedCompopen tasks on the Adjustmentsscreen. You can find this feature under the [FeedComp Menu](docId\:T93yU--9puoivxMGYpo5g).

At the top left of the page, Add the Location tab to view all available open tasks in FeedComp. Or, Add the Location tab to view all available open tasks. Expand the sections below to learn more:

Follow the guidelines below when Addopen tasks:

## Search, Sort, and Filter the Recipes List

Options to search, sort, and filter the open tasks list are available at the top of the screen. Follow the guidelines below when Add the open tasksreport:

- Click**Filters** at the top left of the page to limit the data that is displayed. The **Filters** side panel opens.
- Type text in the Location**\*\*\*\* Name** field to search the list of open tasks by name.
- Activeopen tasksare displayed by default. Add the **Show Inactive**box to view all available open tasks in the list.
- Add the **Clear Filter\*\*\*\*s** option to clear all of the filters currently applied.
- Select an option in **Sort By** at the top right of the page to change how the page is sorted. Select an option in **View Rows Per Page** to change how many records are displayed on the page, and click the navigation options to jump to a specific page.

## Create New Recipe

ClickAdd Location at the top right of the page to open the Location** Builder** and Add information for the open tasks. Follow the steps below to continue:

1. Add the Location report. The nameAdd must be unique and cannot match the name of existing open tasks.
2. Enter the **Density Factor** to indicate Add much of the open tasks can be loaded into the equipment based on weight and bulk:
   - A density factor that is lower than 100% indicates recipes with ingredients that are lighter in weight but take up a lot of space (like dry hay). They will fill the mixer's available space before they reach its maximum weight capacity.
   - A density factor that is higher than 100% indicates recipes with ingredients that are more compact and heavy (like a Premix recipe, which is typically dense if it does not have forages in the recipe). They will reach the mixer's maximum weight capacity even though they do not fill all of its available space.
3. Addreport.
4. Select each ingredient you want to Add to the open tasks in Add Location.
5. To change the load order of an ingredient in the open tasks, Add the handle

on the left side of an item to drag and drop it to a new position in the list.

6. Add the following information for each ingredient added to the open tasks:
   - Location: Select the name of the location where the open tasks is currently Add.
   - DM Amount: Enter the ingredient's dry matter amount.
   - AF Amount: Enter the ingredient's as-fed amount.
   - Time Delay: Select the amount of time FeedComp should wait before loading more ingredients after this ingredient is added.
7. If this recipe will switch to an Alternate Recipe when needed, select the alternate from the drop-down. See [Assign Alternate Recipes](docId\:q6YdU7agl_7wd_HeK-OFX) to learn more.
8. Click Add Location at the bottom right of the page.

## View Recipe Cards

- Recipe DM%: The dry matter percentage for the open tasks.

- AF Cost/Ton: The as-fed unit cost per ton for the open tasks.
- Alternate Recipe: If applicable, identifies the alternate currently in use.

4. Enter the weight tolerance allowed when loading the ingredient into the mixer in **Load Tolerance**.

7. To change the load order of an ingredient in the open tasks, Add the handle
